Do Domestic Helpers help with window cleaning both inside and outside?

Normally, complex/dangerous work, such as cleaning of windows and ceiling lights, takes longer. Appropriate tools should be provided by customers, inclusive of long-handled sticks and stable ladders. The staff has the right to reject work when potential hazards are detected or known.

What cleaning facilities or tools shall I prepare for the helper?

Basic provision includes cleaning tools, such as a piece of hoover, mop, broom, basket, extending window cleaner, towels (at least 4) and dusters, and cleansers, such as Magiclean, Swipe, Campell and Windex.

Can helpers help purchase cleaning tools and cleansers?

Yes. With customers’ consent, our helper will purchase a few number of cleaning tools and cleansers associated with the particular cleaning task. All expenditures will be proved with invoice and paid by customers.

Can I request the service of car wash?

No. Our helpers are not trained to do car wash; further, the insurance of the duty is not covered with our helpers.

Are helpers available on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays?

Yes. Please book the holiday service 4 days earlier to avoid rush arrangement or disappointment since more reservations pour in during holidays.

Are package coupons available before Chinese New Year?

All package coupons are not eligible between 16th December and 3rd January in Chinese Lunar Calendar.

What is the difference between Upholstery Cleaning / Empty House Cleaning and Domestic Helper Cleaning?

The Upholstery Cleaning / Empty House Cleaning staffs will be equipped with cleaning tools and cleansers (except for ladders) while Domestic Helper use tools and cleansers provided by customers. Further, Upholstery Cleaning / Empty House Cleaning staffs have more knowledge of stain removal and more professional skills particular cleaning in the units.

Will the cleaning staff bring their own cleaning tools?

Yes. Common cleaning tools and cleansers include vacuum cleaner, Swipe, Lacquer Thinner, Hydrochloric Acid and normal cleansing agents. Customers should prepare ladders for the cleaning staff or borrow one from the management office.

Is there any particular task schedule for Upholstery Cleaning / Empty House Cleaning?

The service time will be not less than 4 hours and not more than 8 hours. (Exact time depends on the condition of the flat.)

Can I stay in the flat during the service?

Yes, you are welcome to do so. Please keep in mind that high pressure spraying may casue rebound effects. Facial mask is suggested to be used.

When shall I move-in after service?

Use newly renovated flat as an example. When the service completed, the amount of TVOC will dramatically drop 70% or above for a renovated flat usually. Meanwhile, 90% of TVOC will be decomposed in 72 hours after the service. Generally speaking, the level of TVOC will be decreased in a large extend. Its threat to health will therefore diminished. Therefore, it is ready to move-in after the service.

Do I need to conduct further cleaning after service?

CT catalyst passed various tests. It is certified to be safe, non-toxic and not irritant. While, the CT catalyst particles (300nm diameter in average) is evenly distributed on the surface of furniture, walls and every drawers as well. Thus, deep cleaning is not required. And usual cleaning will only caused minor lost of CT catalyst.

How often should we wash carpets? How is the performance of the professional carpet cleaning?

It is suggested to have a thorough carpet cleaning every year. Professional carpet cleaning can not only remove stains and filth but attain a high disinfection level as well.

Can stains be removed completely?

Our cleaning can remove stains caused by oil, water, coffee, rust and chewing gum. The cleaning levels depend on the actual conditions; full stain removal is not guaranteed. (For example, if carpets themselves have been worn out, then cleanliness is for sure, though.)
Irremovable stains include stains caused by urine, dyeing paints, wine, ink and curry as these materials penetrate into carpets.
Besides, most of household carpets are made of thick wool in light colours. A full stain removal is not guaranteed; it depends on what colourful paints they encounter with.

Should all of articles be removed before cleaning work?

Yes. Electric equipment, values and all other articles should be removed before cleaning work. To avoid unnecessary misunderstanding, our staff will not move any articles for customers.

How long does it take to dry carpets?

Most of carpets are wet cleaning (cleaner). The quantity of water depends on the level of cleanliness on site. To simply put, the cleaner the site is the less water is used and vice versa. Even though carpets will be dried after cleaning, there will be still water contained. It is suggested to run air-conditioning for 3-4 hours to dry fully.
